Special solutions for kitchen fires
Anyone who has ever stood in front of a burning pan or fryer knows how quickly cooking oil and fat can self-ignite. Now the wrong extinguishing agent, e.g. B. water, and it comes to the so-called fat explosion. Since burning fat or oil is already several hundred degrees Celsius hot, the added water evaporates immediately. This explosive vaporization throws the burning fat out of the container. To successfully fight cooking oil and fat fires (fire class F), Jockel has special devices in its range that can also be used universally in fire classes A and B.

Jockel grease fire extinguishers contain a highly concentrated salt solution which, when sprayed onto burning oil, leads to saponification. This will smother the fire.
